„Samo is not dead“ 2021, 40x30cm, spraypaint, acrylics & oil chalk on Canvas. ? This is a Special tribute to one of my favorite artists Jean-Michel Basquiat. He died at the age of 27. the painting means that even he died very young he produced more than 30‘000 drawings and paintings and is still inspiring artists around the globe. He started with graffiti in the early 80‘s in New York and is now one of the most highly traded artist in galeries worldwide. I saw his paintings live twice and they inspired me a lot. What I saw and felt in front of his original Artworks is in my painting: 50% Basquiat and 50% Romanesco One ❤️ Sold.
